You can obtain the calcium either by crushing a calcium tablet or from egg shells. Wash the egg shells, bake in an oven at 150C/gas mark 2 for 30 minutes. When cold, pulverise to powder in a food processor or a mortar and pestle.

150 g
plums
100 g
shredded suet
2/3 cup
whole wheat breadcrumbs
1/8 tsp
calcium
1/4 cup
brown sugar
1/4 tsp
grated nutmeg
2 ea
eggs
125 ml
skim milk
Wash plums, take out stone and coarsely chop. Mix together the plums, suet, breadcrumbs, sugar, and nutmeg.
Beat the eggs and stir into the dry ingredients with enough milk to make a soft dropping consistency. You might need a little less than 125ml. Leave to stand for 1 hour to allow the breadcrumbs to soak. If a little stiff, add a little more milk.
Put the mixture into a greased 1 litre basin, cover with greased paper or foil and steam for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Leave for 5-10 minutes to firm up, then turn out. Serve at room temperature.
For humans: increase sugar to 90g. When cooked, can be served from the basin hot with custard. Or, as above, leave 5-10 minutes to firm up before turning out. Can be eaten hot, warm or cold.
