Technology - What's That?

Because I’m a dog, I’m interested in playing ball, eating, and sleeping. I’ll leave you humans to deal with the technology stuff --- it’s boring to me.

I am told that the Lucies Farm kennels are protected by Chubb intruder and fire alarm system, both fully monitored by the alarm centre via a dedicated BT RedCare line. There are also Chubb fire extinguishers on site, and people are only a short stride away 24/7. The kennel has its own telephone extension, and is connected to the farm’s 2 Mb ADSL internet connection. We are only a short distance from the vet (ugh!), and he regularly calls on the farm to see the cattle.

If you want to keep in touch with me while you’re away, I can send daily e-mail messages with photographs, or text messages (also with photos), or faxes. And if you want to keep an eye on me, there’s always a dedicated webcam.

But, as I said, I prefer eating to e-mail.
